Polterheist

Two gangsters are given 72 hours to discover the whereabouts of a stash of drug money stolen by their boss. There's only one problem...they just murdered him. Frantic to find the cash, the hapless criminals kidnap a psychic medium and force her to contact the dead gang boss. Unfortunately for them, they only succeed in unleashing an evil spirit bent on revenge.

One Bright Dot provided grade, 5.1 mix, titles and close to 50 VFX shots for this 2018 nominee for Best Film at the British Independent film awards.

In this short film created as a conference opener, we edited, graded, provided a full sound mix and a number of VFX shots within a four day turnaround. 

Demon Eye

A young woman returns to her father's country house in the moors following his mysterious death and finds a cursed amulet, connected to local witchcraft. She unlocks two deadly demons, who haunt her.

One Bright Dot graded and provided over 100 vfx shots
for this feature which had a limited release in North America and Europe.

The Bridge of San Luis Rey

In this Director's Cut remaster, featuring an all star cast including Kathy Bates, F. Murray Abraham, Roberto DeNiro and Gabriel Byrne and based on the novel by Thornton Wilder, One Bright Dot provided a full cinema and home 5.1 mixes, including SFX design, dialogue clean-up and digital foley. 

Not by the Book

Ben is caught cheating in his final A-level maths exam by his teacher, Ms Bushnell. In return for not reporting Ben she asks him to do her a favour, help kidnap her cheating husband, a task neither are cut out for.

One Bright Dot supplied the grade for this 2019 winner of Best Feature at The Birmingham Film Festival.

For this polarising film, One Bright Dot supplied full cinema and home 5.1 mixes.

Tea with the Reaper

When an amateur ghost hunter opens a portal to the other side to welcome back his little girl, but when the dead wreak havoc in the village - the Reaper comes knocking. One Bright Dot graded this fun mockumentary style short which made numerous selections lists at festivals around the world.
